Clematis 'Roguchi'

This Clematis features large nodding bells with a slight recurve, accentuated by shading along the edges of the sepals. Roguchi is a non–vining Clematis that plays well with shrubs, or let it weave in and out of your perennial plantings. You can prop it as they do in England with willow branches, or let it spill over the sides of a retaining wall. When summer comes, hundreds of these beautifully shaded bells cover the plant, giving a punch of bluish–purple color to the border.

These Clematis bloom on new vines that emerge from the ground each year or stems from near the bottom of older vines. Prune hard in the spring and as often as you like to encourage reblooming and keep the plant as tidy as you like. (Source: Spring Hill Nurseries)
